Walking Hand in Hand with the Party, Marching Toward a Shared Future
Dear students,
It is both an honor and a privilege to share this moment with you as we explore the theme: "Upholding the Leadership of the Communist Party of China."
Looking back, it was in 1921 that the tiny red boat set sail on South Lake in Jiaxing—marking the beginning of the Chinese Communist Party’s mission to rejuvenate the nation. In the stormy years of revolution, facing imperialist aggression and feudal oppression, countless party members stepped forward without hesitation. From the Nanchang Uprising and the Autumn Harvest Uprising, to the sparks of revolution on Jinggang Mountain, and the arduous Long March—under the leadership of the Party, the people achieved victory in the New Democratic Revolution, established the People's Republic of China, and enabled the Chinese people to stand tall, finally breaking free from centuries of poverty and weakness.
After the founding of New China, the Party led the people in building socialism and launching reform and opening-up, triggering profound transformations across Chinese society and economy. From a poor, agrarian nation, China has risen to become the world’s second-largest economy, achieving remarkable progress in every field. The "Chang’e" lunar missions, the "Jiaolong" deep-sea exploration, global leadership in 5G technology, and the soaring flight of sixth-generation fighter jets—all these accomplishments reflect the firm and visionary leadership of the Party. History has proven time and again: Without the Communist Party of China, there would be no new China, nor the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The Party’s leadership is the very foundation and lifeline of the country and the Party; it is where the interests of the people lie, and where their destiny is anchored.
As university students in this new era, you are faced with unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Upholding the Party’s comprehensive leadership is not only vital for national development but also essential for realizing your personal aspirations. So how can we truly uphold the Party’s leadership in our daily actions?
First, strengthen the Four Consciousnesses. Political Consciousness ensures our clarity and steadfastness in political orientation; Overall Situation Consciousness urges us to act in the interest of the nation and the Chinese people as a whole; Core Consciousness demands that we safeguard the authority of the Central Committee and rally closely around it; Alignment Consciousness inspires us to align ourselves with the Party Central Committee at all times.
Second, uphold the Four Confidences. Confidence in the Path assures us that socialism with Chinese characteristics is the only correct road toward national rejuvenation; Confidence in the Theory strengthens our belief in the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics; Confidence in the System enables us to recognize the distinct advantages of the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics; Cultural Confidence empowers us to draw strength from the profound heritage of Chinese civilization.
Most importantly, we must resolutely uphold the Two Upholds—a fundamental political principle we must never compromise. We must firmly uphold General Secretary Xi Jinping’s core position in the CPC Central Committee and the entire Party, and uphold the Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership.
Dear students, the baton of history has now been passed into your hands. I hope you all will stand united around the Party, dedicate your youth and energy to national rejuvenation and national construction, and write a brilliant chapter that belongs to your generation!

亲爱的同学们，大家好！很荣幸能与大家探讨“坚持中国共产党的领导”这一主题。
回首往昔，1921年嘉兴南湖的小小红船启航，中国共产党肩负起民族复兴使命。革命岁月里，面对列强侵略与封建压迫，共产党人前赴后继。南昌起义、秋收起义、井冈山星火、长征跋涉……党带领人民赢得新民主主义革命胜利，建立新中国，让中国人民站了起来，彻底改变了积贫积弱的命运。
新中国成立后，党领导人民开展社会主义建设与改革开放，推动中国经济社会巨变。我们从一穷二白的农业国成为世界第二大经济体，在各领域成就斐然。“嫦娥”奔月、“蛟龙”入海、5G 引领、第六代战机翱翔……这些成就彰显了党的坚强领导。历史证明，没有中国共产党，就没有新中国与中华民族伟大复兴。党的领导是党和国家的根本所在、命脉所在，是人民的利益所系、命运所系。
新时代大学生身处机遇与挑战并存的时代，坚持党的全面领导，对实现人生价值、助力国家发展意义重大。那么，各位该如何在实际行动中坚持党的领导呢？
首先，增强“四个意识”。政治意识让我们保持政治清醒；大局意识让我们从国家和民族整体利益出发；核心意识要求我们维护党中央权威，团结在党中央周围；看齐意识促使我们向党中央看齐。
其次，坚定“四个自信”。道路自信让我们坚信中国特色社会主义道路是实现复兴的必由之路；理论自信让我们对中国特色社会主义理论体系充满信心；制度自信让我们认识中国特色社会主义制度的显著优势；文化自信让我们汲取中华文化力量。
最重要的是，做到“两个维护”，这是我们必须坚守的政治原则，是党和国家事业发展的根本保证。我们要坚决维护习近平同志党中央的核心、全党的核心地位，维护党中央权威和集中统一领导。
同学们，时代接力棒已交到各位手中。望大家紧密团结在党的周围，以青春和奋斗为民族复兴、祖国建设贡献力量，书写属于你们这一代青年的华彩篇章！
