Dear students, today let's talk about a global hotspot: the rule of law and international human rights protection.
China has always adhered to a people-centered view of human rights. For us, human rights are not just political rights; the rights to subsistence and development, which are "the fundamental rights for daily life," are even more crucial. As General Secretary Xi Jinping has emphasized, we must embed the people's interests throughout the entire process of governing the country by law. This is precisely the core logic of our human rights protection: the people's well-being and aspirations are our guiding direction.
In the face of global challenges, China has never hesitated. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we not only managed our own domestic epidemic prevention "responsibility fields" but also sent vaccine aid to developing countries. This was not to seek praise, but because we sincerely believe that humanity is a community, and helping others is helping ourselves.
However, one thing must be made clear: we firmly oppose using human rights as a pretext to interfere in other countries' internal affairs. Every country has vastly different circumstances, and human rights policies must be grounded in reality and suited to national conditions. Solving problems through dialogue and cooperation, rather than accusations and pressure, is in line with the rules of international law.
On the international stage, China has always been a doer. Strengthening the rule of law at home and speaking up to support developing countries internationally are both efforts to make the global human rights cause move forward more steadily and further.

中国始终抱持以人民为中心的人权观——对我们来说，人权不只是政治权利，生存权和发展权这些"过日子的根本权利"更关键。就像习近平总书记强调的，要把人民利益贯穿依法治国全过程，这正是咱们人权保障的核心逻辑：老百姓的福祉和心愿，就是我们的方向。
面对全球性挑战，中国从不含糊。新冠疫情里，咱们既守好国内防控的"责任田"，也给发展中国家送去疫苗援助。这不是为了听赞歌，而是真心觉得人类是个共同体，帮别人就是帮自己。
但有件事必须说清楚：我们坚决反对拿人权当幌子干涉别国内政。每个国家的情况千差万别，人权政策得接地气、合国情。解决问题靠对话合作，而非指责施压，这才符合国际法的规矩。
在国际舞台上，中国一直是实干派。国内扎紧法治的篱笆，国际上为发展中国家撑腰发声，都是为了让全球人权事业走得更稳、更远。
